A fourth set has joined the realm. Stormbound (STB) brings 100 cards plus 3 Secret Rares across three new types: Aerial, Elemental, and Divine. The type triangle: Aerial beats Elemental, Elemental beats Divine, Divine beats Aerial. Fifteen evolution lines anchor the set — from the cackling Stormling that hatches into the Skyfang Tyrant, to the witch-coven that produces the Cyclone Archmagus, to the fallen-angel chain ending in Heaven's Outcast. Three Secret Rares — Empyrean, Lord of Tempests, and Voidstorm Tyrant — sit at the apex. Like the others, Stormbound is capped at 5,000 packs total, 200 per player, and rotates out three months from today. Banner art generates from the admin panel — no static image bundling required for new sets going forward.

Each of the original three sets — Frozen Realms, Lunar Ascent, and Embered Realm — is now capped at 5,000 packs AND rotates out three months from today. Whichever happens first: cap or calendar, that's when the set retires from the shop. Cards already in your collection, marketplace listings, and trades stay forever — only new packs stop. The Shop and Sets pages show a live progress bar plus a countdown that goes red in the final week. To keep one collector from buying out a print run, each player is also capped at 200 packs per set. Retired sets stay visible but greyed out so you remember they existed. New sets going forward can have their own caps and rotation periods (or none at all).

When you have multiple copies of the same card in your Collection, click the stack to fan it out — every copy is now individually selectable, with its own listing state, serial number, and action menu. List one copy, shelf another, recycle a third, all without losing track of which is which. Hit the ↩ Collapse pill to re-stack. Thanks to Forrest for the dispatch that surfaced the underlying bug!

You can now showcase up to 12 of your best cards on your profile! Head to your Collection, select a card, and hit 'Add to Shelf.' Visit your profile to see them displayed — drag cards to reorder your showcase exactly how you want it.

Every player now has a profile page! Click any username in the Marketplace or Trades to visit their profile and see their collection stats. Send friend requests to connect with other collectors — once accepted, you can leave comments on each other's profiles. Find your own profile from the user menu in the top-right corner.

A new pack tier has arrived in the Card Shop! Rare Packs cost 3x the standard price but offer dramatically boosted odds: 30% Rare, 10% Ultra Rare, 10% Foil, 10% Holo, and 5% Secret Rare on each bonus slot. Toggle between Standard and Rare in the shop to choose your destiny.

The Arena has expanded with 10 new ways to earn gold! Boss Battle lets you fight legendary creatures with your own cards. Card Slots, Card Bingo, and Pack Predictor bring the thrill of chance. Card Trivia, High-Low, Type Matchup, Evolution Chain, and Rarity Sort test your card knowledge. Deck Builder challenges you to build under constraints. 14 games total — play them all!

CardNexus has been reforged in the fires of a dark fantasy realm. The entire site now features a Vallejo-inspired theme with warm aged-gold accents, deep dark backgrounds, ornamental dividers, and thematic language befitting a world of ice dragons and moon beasts. The navigation has been consolidated — Shop, Marketplace, Collection, and Sets now live under a single "Cards" dropdown. News dispatches appear on the front page. Every page has been touched.

You can now recycle unwanted cards for gold! Head to your Collection, select a card, and hit Recycle. Payouts scale with rarity — Commons yield 1 gold while Secret Rares are worth 25 gold. Foil variants get 2x and Holographic variants get 3x the base value.

Three new card tiers have arrived! Foil cards shimmer with a metallic sheen, Holographic cards glow with a rainbow prismatic overlay, and Secret Rares are brand-new powerful cards numbered beyond the set (e.g. #103/102) with spinning prismatic borders and sparkle particles. Pull rates per bonus slot: 5% Foil, 3.5% Holographic, 1.5% Secret Rare. Each set now has 3 Secret Rare cards with unique art, massive stats, and a global serial number stamped on the card face. Check your collection — variant badges and serial numbers are now displayed on all special cards.
